In celebration of the ongoing Olympics in Rio, we bring you Kids Olympics. We will have Larong Pinoy games to cultivate the love for Pinoy outdoors games.
Larong pinoy games featured are Patintero, Luksong Tinik and Tumbang Preso.
A fun morning with the kids from Gentle Hands is in store for all the volunteers. The volunteers will surely enjoy playing the games that they used to do back in the day.
Larong Pinoy games will test everyone’s creativity, teamwork and sportsmanship as the kids and volunteers get to team up and go for the win with these games.
Volunteers will be the kuyas and ates of the kids for the morning. They will be paired/ grouped with the kids and be tasked to participate in the different fun activities prepared throughout the whole event.
Beneficiary: Gentle Hands is a Christian social welfare agency located in Quezon City. They are a center for rescue and healing of marginalized children in crisis. They would like to provide family-centered care and hope for children who have experienced trauma. Visit www.gentlehands.org for more details.
Fee: Minimal sponsor fee of Php 250 for adults and Php 150 for students. Fee includes your own food, personal ID and pen. Your partner kid will also get food, materials and gifts. Payments to be made on the day itself or through tag 77 (see website for more details: www.uhappyevents.com/volunteer).
