Edicute Incorporated, a nonprofit volunteer organization committed to promote education amongst Filipino indigenous peoples will conduct its annual back to school program, "Balik Eskwela" on 4-5 June 2016 in San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro. Edicute will provide school supplies to approximately 150 Mangyan school children.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Join us and volunteer to help us implement the "Balik Eskwela" outreach. We need 15-20 volunteers to sort and distribute school supplies, cook and distribute food (feeding program), story tell, document activities, conduct games and other activities for the kids, among others.
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP?
- Send your cash donation to cover expenses for the Balik Eskwela package to be distributed to 150 beneficiaries. Donation will also cover costs of food supplies for the feeding program, materials to be used for the activities during the outreach, and other related expenses.
- Provide in-kind donation like old clothes and toys, storybooks and school supplies - anything useful will be appreciated.
- Tie up any of your upcoming official races through our various initiatives i.e. Run for Pencils, Bike for Pencils, and Tri for Pencils to help us raise funds for the outreach. Or help us in ways you can!
