Mission statement
Project Para sa Bayan is an established non-profit youth organization recognized by the National Youth Commission (NYC) that envisions community development and volunteerism towards promoting the common good, welfare and interest in the fields of civic engagement, economic empowerment and social entrepreneurship, education, and environmental issues.
The Project Para sa Bayan believes the following:
- That access to education shall be given and accessible to everyone.
- That education should develop man’s physical, mental, social, cultural, political, and spiritual potentials to the fullest, in order to realize a human and humane existence for all.
- That one should promote the quality of life in a community, through both political and non-political processes,
- That innovative and financially sustainable activities should be established to target social objectives.
- That environmental preservation, conservation, and promotion should be focused in order to carry out environmental advocacies.
- That Project Para sa Bayan’s programs, projects and activities should be aligned with the four themes prioritized by the organization namely education, civic engagement, economic empowerment and social entrepreneurship, and environmental issues.
