To promote and work with Filipino artists and animal lovers to efficiently rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray or neglected cats and dogs, and promote spay and neuter efforts to create a safe environment for both people and animals to live in.
BARK Animal Rescue and Kapon Mission or BARK Mission Inc. is a Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) registered non-profit corporation working to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome neglected cats and dogs in distress around Metro Manila, Philippines. The founders and board members of BARK Mission are animal lovers who have been rescuing, fostering, adopting and promoting spay and neuter for cats and dogs since 2012. In order to amplify their efforts and help with the growing problem of cats and dogs being neglected and in distress, the founders decided to formalize their initiative into BARK Mission Inc., which was registered with the SEC on September 25, 2020. BARK Mission's operations are possible with the help of volunteers, donations, and generosity of Filipino artists (our "BARKtists"), who share and showcase their talents to fund and support BARK's advocacy of animal welfare.
