WHO CAN JOIN?
Do you like reading books with children, encouraging them to read and talk about what they have just read? Do you like participating in creative workshops that makes it possible for children and you to discover your creative potentials? Do you like doing all these in an informal setting, squatting on mats, receiving hugs and touches from kids around you?

GET ORIENTED AND ATTEND THE STREET LIBRARY
If you answered YES, YOU are invited to an orientation for volunteers to our STREET LIBRARY PROGRAM. The program will be held from January to February 2018. The Street Library relaunch will be held on Jan. 13, 2018, at 2-5pm at Manila North Cemetery. Volunteers who attend the orientation will proceed to the venue along with ATD team members. Grab this chance for YOU to have a new, nice experience together with children in our communities.

THE STREET LIBRARY
The STREET LIBRARY aims to foster a love for reading books in communities that do not have much access to books and provides an atmosphere for learning that is encouraging. It may start with book reading time that may be done with more than one child, followed by storytelling (by one or two storytellers) and then the creative workshops.

KEEP UPDATED
Change of schedules, news and updates will be posted on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ATD.Philippines/. We will also use all other means to get in touch with you for any changes through all the contact information you shared with us. Please make sure that these are all accurate.
