Volunteer Event
Support our English Literacy Program. We want to see our scholar's growth and let our advocacy be known and we need volunteer social media ambassadors to help us.
About the Project
Founded in 2008, Binhi English Literacy Foundation Inc. (BINHI) aims to improve English reading skills to identified non- and frustrated readers aged between 5-8 years old in public elementary schools and community centers.
Every month, social media ambassadors will help BINHI introduce our advocacy to a wider audience and encourage others to become BINHI Reading Warriors themselves through the following:
- Liking, sharing, commenting on our posts on various social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
- Creating content for our social media channels
Qualifications and Requirements
Before becoming a BINHI Social Media Ambassador, one must pass the following criteria:
- an advocate of literacy and independent learning with keen observation skills
- willing to attend a virtual orientation on April 3 from 5:30-6:30 PM
- willing to commit at least 15 minutes of his/her time per day for 1 month so you can like, share, and comment on BINHI's social media postings
- must have a gadget and access to a stable internet connection
- must be knowledgeable of the common social media apps (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
- for content creator, has a general knowledge of Canva
Expect to receive an email at least 3 days before the commitment date with the rest of the details.
